So being the New Year. Happy 2021 everyone. We wanted to do something that sparkled. But with limited supply's thank to Covid19 keeping us home. No we do not have the virus but going to the store is really not safe because my daughter cannot wear a mask. Shes is under the 10 like way under but I have tried the mask thing but she is so young that she thought she had to hold her breath while wearing it. I noticed in time and was able to rip it off of her and tell her to breathe. So until she is older I am not letting her wear a mask.
Ok back to the sparkle!
Todays craft is Jewels in a bottle.
Most people use sand in a jar and they layer the sand to make a creative rainbow. But I have teeny tiny jars from the Dollar tree and no sand. Again my daughter loves things mermaidified and right now she loves Shimmer and shine (nick jr show) and those twins are always finding gems and jewels. So I have searched around the apartment and have found teeny tiny beads (we will call them jewels in this case).
For Christmas I got her a giant bead kit with a unicorn case to hold them in. Yes unicorn not mermaid you heard right but remember she like all things magical. Just the majority of that magic is normally mermaid. but this Christmas i got her a variety of different magical toys lol.
SO in this bead kit came thousandish of little teeny bead and the funny thing is these beads dont fit on the string that is provided in the kit with them. ugh
Which makes this perfect for this craft.
Basicaly just sit at the table and put some music on.
Then open jar ; how? well you take the cork out of top. duh lol hehe.
Then you put the jewels in the jar. Use any color of them you want.
Then put cork back in the top of the jar. By the way these jars are no bigger then my thumbs up. So if you like this craft give it a thumbs up emoji in the comments.
Thankyou and have a magical day!
